TAKE is a non-profit organization staffed entirely by volunteers. We rely on the help of people like you to meet the needs of our community.

From Team-Building, to Silver Cord community service hours, to Eagle Scout projects, TAKE needs your help!
We are always looking for event organizers, fundraising gurus, grant writers, & publicists.
TAKE is run entirely by volunteers–from top to bottom! TAKE staff, leadership, and board members are all volunteers. All web design, social media, & public outreach is created by volunteers, as well.
TAKE has a core group of about 20 volunteers from all walks of life–retirees, stay at home parents, college & high school students, church, school, and civic organizations.
Volunteers operate the store, help donors bring in & unload donations, and also process donations–checking condition, sorting, hanging, folding, or displaying them, and/or setting them aside for future use in TAKE’s Christmas Room–where shoppers can find holiday gifts for loved ones.
TAKE even has volunteers fluent in Spanish to assist our customers and donors for whom English is not their native language.
Yes, we need help processing donations, sorting clothes, & running our “store”, but that’s just the beginning…
